Its funny, but so many writing communities have gone out of business. What does this do for writers? We're stuck with writing for pennies

Gone out of business

Gone out of business
`I have been visiting a few old content websites and it looks like they've gone out of business. What is this telling us about
online content writings? Is it worthy? Can we make money still? Should we open our own site? Why have they gone out of business?
I used to participate in a lot of websites but now they no longer operates. Why? I think Associated content was one that
was most successful because now they're Shine on Yahoo. And to the least, you can still write for Shine. But I looked at Helium
and they're gone. I looked at Bukisa and they're no longer operating with writers. They took all of our articles and closed up.
I look at Xomba and they're gone. I looked at Squidoo and now they're part of Hubpages. I looked at Hubpages but now it took close
to a pro to get in with them. Triond is the same old, low paying website but at least they still exist. Ehow is only taking
articles from pro. But Youtubers are making millions. I guess its the video generation now.

Its funny how, only within a few years, most companies have gone out of business. I guess operating costs are too high, Google
is hitting them hard. And writers have been clicking their own ads so Google shut them down so they no longer exist. I guess there
isn't really any good websites around anymore. Bubblews is not paying people and you have to reach $50 to get a payout. This is rather sad.
I think some hardcore writings sites like Textbrokers is still around but there is no fun writing about furniture and leather for
one buck.

Some paying websites

Too hard
I guess this writing business is so hard nowadays. I used to make good money with those websites each month but now you can hardly
make a penny because of Google hitting you down and how most sites would not pay out well and some don't even pay. I know slicethepie
is still paying decently though with more reviews on fashion, which makes me want to write for them still. But nowadays, making
money online is too hard. I guess selling online is getting poor too like Ebay and Amazon. Nowadays, there are way too many
competition and products have to be sold at a very low price in order to hitch a sale. Yep, things are looking bad online for
all of us. How can we make money as writers online nowadays?

Yea, I agree and the observation is quite rightly taken in the domain of writing for money..
