In The Waiting Room

My friend, David, and his wife had only been married for a few months when she had to undergo surgery. He was sitting in the waiting room during the operation. After what seemed like forever, a nurse came out and asked him if he was waiting for Andrea. He nodded and said yes.

She Was Actually Thinking Of Him.

She told him that Andrea had been asking for him constantly from the moment she was able to form words coherently again. Wow, he said, that's so incredibly sweet, he was ecstatic, since they'd only been together for a few months and here, she was already thinking of him even in a sedated state!


Meet Max!

He asked the nurse how long her recovery would be and she read through the details in her file. She then walked up to him and handed him a clipboard and said, “Ok, Max, if you could just sign here.”

His face must have given it all away, as she suddenly became noticeably flustered. “Oh, my gosh, your name is not Max, is it? I’m so terribly sorry. That was the name she kept asking for. I hope I didn’t upset you. Is Max her ex or something?” she asked.
Suddenly he laughed, pulled out his phone and showed her a picture of Max...

glad you walked my page I left a thanks note did you not engage
we poets are not to be forgotten u know it

so many loved the SALAD poetry
and only two/3 comments reflects poorly both on me and readers inability
next one do say some thing to energize a poets electricity
