How to Draw a Cartoon Frog (Step by Step)

I will be showing you step by step how to draw a cartoon frog.

Step 1

Draw one large circle, this will be the frog’s head and body so make it as large as you want. Then draw two small circles at the side of the large circle, the two small circles are going to be the legs of the cartoon frog.

Step 2

Next draw two ovals at the top of the head, these will be the eyes. Then draw one small circle in the large circle, this will be the mouth.

Step 3

Now rub out the lines inside the eyeballs and then draw in two smaller ovals in the eyes, these are the pupils for the eyes. After that connect the legs to the large circle.

Step 4

Rub out the lines inside the legs. After that draw 4 very small circles four times (refer to the pictures for placement), these will serve as the frogs feet.

Optional ~ For the dragon fly I drew 5 small circles and then four ovals, sorry about the picture but I am not good with paint, the wings (the two ovals) that are at the top should be smaller so it looks more realistic.

Step 5 ~ Finish

The final stage! For this you will need to blacken the pupils for the eyes and blacken the mouth. You can then shade and colour it in (if you want it to be black and white I would suggest that you still shade it in.
