Part One, Nature

1. You know the difference between a hill and a mountain.
2. You know that 0 means freezing, and that in January -5c is a pretty nice day.
3. Your favorite flower is the wild rose.
4. You know what canola looks like when in bloom.
5. You know where to look for dinosaur bones.
6. You have found dinosaur bones.
7. You know what chinooks are.
8. You hate chinooks because they make things "too warm" in winter.
9. You have seen big horn sheep in the wild.
10. You have seen a black bear in the wild.
11. You listen to the weather intently, and know what "wind chill" means.
12. You know what a hoodoo is.
13. You know what a coulee is.
14. You have never seen a rat.
15. You never put your snow shovel away.

Part Two, Cities, People, and Society

17. You prefer not to shop at West Ed if you can at all help it.
18. Your favorite meat is beef.

32. Your truck is white and when you park it you do so by backing into the parking spot.
33. You carry jumper cables and know how to use them.
34. You have used jumper cables.
35. You have been to Banff, Jasper, and Waterton, National parks.
36. You have been knee deep in Pigeon Lake and Sylvan Lake.
37. You have ridden a horse at least twice.
38. You have fallen off a horse at least twice.
39. You have ridden a bull.
40. You know why eight seconds can be a really long time.
41. You think Beer Pong should be an Olympic sport.
42. You know that winning a draw and/or getting your tickets has nothing to do with the lottery.
43. You know how to two-step.
44. You have seen a truck, pulling a trailer, pulling a boat.
45. You have hooked up your truck, to a trailer, and then to a boat.
46. You always have a hoodie with you in the summer because you can never be too prepared for cooler weather.
47. You own a set of skis, cowboy boots, and golf clubs.
48. You, or a family member, owns a border collie.
49. You watch Heartland just to see if you recognize anyone, anything, or any horse.
50. When on a hike in the woods you keep your eyes open for wild Saskatoons.
