Social Networks are for connecting with people from your past and new friends. Some have found that these sights are places they can air their dirty laundry and have arguements for everyone to seel

Facebook at First

When I first joined Facebook I wasn't exactly sure what to do on there. I looked around and thought it was rather simplistic and boring. But as I learned more about it I realized I could look up current friends and those I haven't talked to in a long time. I found friends I haven't talked to in years and those who are just so busy it is easier to keep up with on Facebook. I enjoyed finding out what was going on with friends from high school and glad I had a new way to keep up with them.

Applications are Fun

I started getting invitations from friends to join different applications where I could farm, run a cafe, have some type of pet or be a part of a mafia family. At first it was overwhelming keeping up with all the invitations and sending back gifts to all those who had sent a gift to me. I was always worriying if I had a crop to harvest a pt to feed. If you let it Facebook applications could become a full time job. In order to restore some kind of sanity I picked a few because they are a way to relax after a long day

Facebook Now

After being on facebook a while and accumulating many friends and relaives I have found "Facebook Wars" to be the new thing. Occasionally I put put up a status but it isn't something I wouldn't my grandmother or priest to read. I also comment on friends post but never anything that would be thought of as mean or rude. More and more I am finding people not only posting inappropiate comments or status but actually having full blown arguement for everyone to see. I don't need to see that a girl I went to high school with and her boyfriend are having a fight because he was out with another girl last weekend a girl who has been called many colorful names at that. A family squabble is also not appropriate for this forum. How hard is it to walk into the next room and tell your teenage son to go to bed rather than post it on Facebook? Let's go back to a Facebook where the most dirt spewed in is Farmville or Farmtown!
