Do you know you favorite comic character spongebob squarepants can be a gay. Some research & case studies are proving this. Some case has been taken and can be said spongebob is a gay.

Top Reasons

Is it possible that our beloved SpongeBob SquarePants is secretly gay? Apparently enough, according to the Wall Street Journal, the happy character from Nickelodeon is as gay as it gets! The Journal writes that a lot of SpongeBob fans are definitely gay, while pointing out the fact that many stores that are targeted at gay customers have been running out of SpongeBob merchandise as quickly as they get on the shelves in the city of Atlanta and New York. Another person who is a fan of the animated show notes Bob isn’t very masculine and that he is very soft on the inside. So is it possible that the makers have secretly made the lead of the show a gay character?

Let’s recall the character so the show. SpongeBob is a sponge who lives under the sea, in a “pineapple” in a city called Bikini Bottom, his has a pink colored dumb as a rock, starfish as his best friend, Patrick and a squid with tentacles who enjoys bubble baths and classical music. Bob and Patrick enjoy a superhero show named “The Adventures of Mermaid-Man and Barnacle Boy” and have also been seen holding hands on occasion. Although this doesn’t conclusively say that he and the other characters are gay, it does bring that thought into our heads, doesn’t it?

When the voice for the yellow sponge character, Tom Kenny was interviewed at a late night show by Conan O’Brien, he was also asked about the sexual orientation of the characters. He was conveniently cryptic about it and said that they hadn’t really addressed the sexuality of the characters on the show but that all the characters have some sort of hidden horrible pasts and secrets of their own.

While the Nickelodeon network stands its ground firmly when it says that the characters of the show aren’t gay, even in the city of San Francisco and West Hollywood, many gay kids and adults alike find SpongeBob merchandise to be a personal favorite. Some quotes also suggest that he is a gay.

Cathy Renna of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, who commented on this topic said that he was just a sponge and it was not possible for him to be gay. But she also pointed out that her homosexual community has had a fine tuned sense of “fun and campy” and that the show is definitely fun as well as campy. She moves on to say that although she was pretty sure that SpongeBob wasn’t gay, she had her doubts about his tomboyish friend, who was a squirrel, Sandy Cheeks.

The creator of the show, Stephen Hillenburg, however said that the characters were definitely not gay and that but he thinks if them to be asexual. But he also said that he gets why gay people tend to connect more to his characters, and that is because all the characters are different and the concept of embracing that fact has been the theme of the show. But, but, but, the stats say that about 1/5th of the viewers of the show at 11pm on MTV are gays. You do the math now!

Hi Dking 01

Interesting article. But whether Spongebob is gay or not, he's still entertaining as all hell.

You are male, do you pride yourself around women or men???
Well many men have a feminine side that is attributed to gayism and not that they are gay, its a preference wherein they have a feminine touch to their surrounding like girls who have a masculine touch to theirs.
Now put yourself as spongebob and check this, are you happier with male company or female company??? I know of a boy who hangs out with girls, calls and goes home with them and parents have been warned that he may get active early as he is with pre-pubescent girls and is experiencing growing pains too wherein checking and experimenting becomes part of the age group.
Now you talk about yourself as I take it your photograph is recent???
Nickelodeon brought it out to thrill children for their childhood not for adults or pre-adults to mock what they may have grown up with with a gay dissection.
In that case, Josie and the pussycats, Power Puff Girls, Ed Edd and Eddie are all gay depictions???
Well clean your dirty mind rather than contaminating childhood.

Explains it, you are into one night standing aka quickmingling. Will interpret it the way I like as an analogy of what I think of the word. You like bisexual mingling that is quick not hard to get and declination of childhood media is better as you can then get young virgins in their formative years as well. Male, female wherein otherwise is a choice.
