Things are not always as they seem. This is a personal story of what happened to me at a church singing.

Along Came a Spider

One Wednesday night I went to a church singing. I don't remember the group playing, but I have seen them a couple of times. I was sitting in my pew all by myself. There were a fair amount of people at the singing that night.

My shoes were off and I was in my stockinged feet. I was tapping my feet and toes to the beat of the music. Everyone was clapping their hands to the beat and some of the parisheners were standing, smiling, and singing along.

I wanted to stand up too, but I had had knee surgery and it was difficult to move around. My attention was totally on the music. I felt a tickle on the top of my right foot just be,ow my instep. I continued to feel the tickle. I looked down and saw a big wood spider sitting just as pretty as you please on my foot. It never bit me. I almost believed that spider was feeling the beat and enjoying it.

I screamed and jumped up on the pew and going crazy with panic. Everyone thinks I've been touched by the Holy Ghost. They are all coming undone and yelling 'Bless her Lord.'

When my panic subsided, I sat down and was quiet. After the set was over for intermission, people were coming up to me telling me that I recieved a big blessing from the Lord. [b]I couldn't help but to be honest. I said 'It wasn't the Holy Ghost, it was a wood spider sitting on my foot tapping to the music.'

Good to see you too Eve. I got so scared with that spider. It was just tapping me with its feet. I read somewhere they use their feet like taste buds. Lol! Glad it didn't bite me.

Ugh! Glad it didn't too. Whoa! I was kept one eye open all night(or seemed so) when there was a spider on my wall. My granddaughter came over the next day and killed it for me.
