One ice cream vendor isn't too happy when another vendor tries to sell frozen goods on his side of town. Things get a little sticky...
Ice Cream Man Violence
This past weekend in Marysville, Washington, there was a bit of competition between two ice cream vendors. I don't know if they have boundaries or anything like that up in Washington, but I thought you could sell ice cream wherever you wanted... apparently not. After one ice cream vendor came on to another vendor's "turf", he then pulled out and knife on the vendor and told her to scram.
After a quick call to the police, the man was questioned about the incident. He admitted to talking to the woman but denied all claims of threatening her with a knife. After a search of his truck revealed a knife, he was then arrested for assault and was later held in court on $25,000 bail.
Right when I thought people couldn't be crazier, I always get proven wrong. So remember, next time you stroll over to the neighborhood ice cream man, make sure you give him a generous tip or it might cost you more than just your popsicle.
